Firstly thank you for visiting our web site, here is a brief background history of R.M.E.
We formed in 1995 with the purpose of providing the very best in D.J.. entertainment that is at our disposal. In that time we have grown into a major force in Birmingham and beyond.

Mark Whittingham started as a D.J. at the tender age of 17 on the mobile circuit, and quickly became the resident D.J. at the Midland Hotel from 1987 till 1992 playing tunes in the main bar,  r'n'b and all the top soul tunes to a mainly black audience (The Original play that funky tune White Boy ! ). The Hotel (now the Burlington) has Mark as adviser on hand for their booking needs. Mark is now one of the most sort-after D.J's for corporate events.

Ross Whittingham, the sound guy in more ways than one, unlike Mark went the way of sound and lighting jock.
Ross worked closely with Mark in the early years erecting sound and lighting systems in all kinds of venues. Ross launched R.M.E. with Mark in 1995 providing a most needed reliable source of  sound and lighting systems. These P.A. Systems ranged from 5k to 40k and were supplied to pubs and clubs across the Midlands.
On these installations Ross met many D.J's  and  this gave birth to the now wide database of reliable D.J's.
Both these ventures have grown nationwide over the last 2/3 years.

We have provided D.J.'s to the likes of :- Bass Taverns-Punch Retail-Spirit Group-Regent Inns-Surrey Free-Eldridge Pope-Wizard Taverns and other Blue Chip Companies, which shows we are achieving and maintaining our very high standards. This is due to our professionalism and full commitment to all our clients.

All our D.J.'s are at the top of their trade, all have been personally vetted by R.M.E to provide the very best for all our clients, whatever their requirements.
With a large database of top quality D.J.'s we have the experience and backup needed in the event of any unforeseen changes.
